Is Your Test & Tag Service Up to Scratch?

When it comes to Test & Tag, the cheapest price isn’t necessarily the best value.

There are plenty of providers offering low-cost services, but the real question is: what are you actually getting for your money?

If equipment is not tested in accordance with the relevant New Zealand Standards, or items are tested unnecessarily simply to increase the number of billable tests, then a cheap tag price does not represent good value at all.  We regularly come across examples of poor-quality Test & Tag work. Some of the more obvious examples can be seen on our website:  https://cpmtesting.co.nz/epic-fails  We often find equipment that should not be in service and used in New Zealand—for example, electrical equipment fitted with non-compliant plugs, equipment that fails to meet New Zealand safety requirements or equipment being tagged when there is no requirement for it to be tested and tagged, this is just ripping you off.

So ask yourself: what are you actually paying for?

Is the cheapest quote really a bargain, or are you simply paying for a service that isn’t delivering what is required by the standards or what you expect?

Would you accept this from your mechanic? Imagine taking your family car in for a service and discovering that the mechanic had skipped important checks, cut corners or performed unnecessary work simply to increase the bill. You wouldn’t consider that good value.
